Newham, which is situated in the east of London, has a variety of arts venues, the Olympic park, and the most premier metropolitan shopping center.

Newham was originally an agricultural community, whose close proximity to London offered a ready market for its produce. Nowadays the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park offers a site of about 250 acres of beautifully landscaped open space. Stratford (Newham) was the center of the London Olympic Games in 2012. To participate in sports or to watch major sporting events, The Olympic heritage makes Stratford a wonderful place.
